Pinewood Derby

Josh had his first Pinewood Derby showdown.  His car is the Batmobile. 

The top three cars from the Tiger Den races were very close.  The top two cars had to re-run the races multiple times because they kept tying.  Josh got third place but he was always very close from the  top two.

You see another trophy?  That was for the best "I did it myself" award.  How do they decide who gets that trophy?  No idea.  Did Josh do it himself?  Sure - if it gets him a trophy!!  He did a lot of the work.  He was a great helper and great sport!  Way to go Josh!

 

Oh yea, I got third!!  I am a stud!!

Feeding the Birds

Alexis and Jocelyn decided to help feed the birds.  They made strings of Cheerios and Froot Loops to hang on the tree outside for the birds.  Alexis ended up eating hers but we got Jocelyn's out to the tree.

Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year, Samuel colored all the NFL team symbols.  He got them all done just in time for the big game.

Joshua's Birthday

Josh invited three friends over for his birthday.  They built Legos, played the Wii, made their own pizzas, and played games.  In the afternoon, we went to Grandpa and Grandma Bator's for our family get together.  Happy 7th Birthday Joshua!!

Sam's Birthday

Sam invited four friends to go to the Timberwolves game with him for his birthday.
They had a lot of fun.  The boys thought it would be fun to dump their popcorn over the edge onto the people sitting below them.  Thank goodness Mike caught them before they acted.

Then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Bator's to celebrate with the family.

Alexis Preschool Program

We got to hear Alexis sing in her preschool program.  It is funny to watch and listen.  Usually I can't understand what they are saying.  And who put the big giant in the front that blocked Alexis?!?
I took a picture of her coming off the stage though.

Teddy Bear Band

Alexis and Jocelyn went to a preschool event where they made crafts, played games, and danced with the Teddy Bear Band!!

 

Snow Biz

I am doing catch-up work.  I decided the best way to keep my extended family updated on the kids events is to keep a blog. 
Back in December of 2012, Samuel had his Third Grade program - Snow Biz.  Very fun to watch.
